"After never making it to the start line for my last marathon because of plantar fascitis, a friend told me about Coach Mike and Stride Ahead Coaching. I was eager to toe the line of a marathon that spring with the hopes to run a sub-3:00 marathon. Coach Mike worked with me closely, listened and created my training plan the best way possible in order for me to get healthy, avoid further injury and yet achieve my goal. I was able to run my first sub-3:00 marathon under his training that spring.

"Coming off of a big summer of ultrarunning, I thought the transition to faster road running in preparation for an early December marathon would be seamless and easy. Instead, I found myself feeling unmotivated, lethargic, and barely running as October rolled around.
Two friends recommended Coach Mike at Stride Ahead Coaching, and he felt confident that he could get me to the start-line to run a decent time. Coach Mike was flexible in planning my training around my weekly schedule, willing to answer all of my questions, and provided regular feedback.
